This site started the way most good ones do out of a small obsession that got a little out of hand. I kept rearranging my desk. Then rearranging it again. Then buying a keyboard I didn’t need because the one I had was “fine” but not right. Somewhere in the middle of that spiral, I realized I wasn’t the only one who cared this much about the space where I spend most of my day.
If you’ve ever spent twenty minutes deciding where the mouse pad should sit, or fallen down a YouTube hole comparing mechanical switches at 1am, you’re in the right place.
What this site is actually about
Spacebar Sentiments is where desk setups and productivity meet honest gear talk. Two things, really:

Cable management, monitor height, chair setups, lighting, the small tweaks that make an 8-hour day feel less like a grind. Productivity isn’t about hacks or hustle culture here it’s about removing friction so you can actually focus.
Gear & Gadget Reviews keyboards, mice, monitors, docks, lamps, whatever’s sitting on desks right now. I test things the way you’d actually use them, not in some sterile lab setting. If something’s overpriced or overhyped, I’ll say so. If something’s genuinely worth your money, I’ll say that too.
Why it’s called Spacebar Sentiments
Because the spacebar is the key everyone uses without thinking about it, and that’s kind of the point. Good gear and a good setup should feel the same way. Invisible when it’s working, obvious when it’s not. This site is my running commentary on getting that balance right.
Who this is for
People who work at a desk and want that time to feel better whether that’s a student, a remote worker, a gamer, or someone who just bought their first “real” chair and wants to build out the rest. No gatekeeping, no assuming you already know what a hot-swappable PCB is. Just straightforward opinions from someone who’s tried a lot of stuff so you don’t have to.
